I started this journey with my daughter, and it's been great to see the pathway from juniors through to seniors. It's a club that encourages development and makes it easy to stay involved in netball long-term.

Before you register

Good questions.

The things senior players ask us, answered for you.

01Who can play senior netball?

Anyone aged 17 and over, at any level. Teams are graded from social to competitive, so whether you’re returning after years off or you never left, there’s a team for you.

02Where and when are senior games played?

Winter - AMND (Netball SA)

Senior winter games (grades A-C2) are played on Saturdays at the Mile End Sports Complex outdoor courts, 155 Railway Terrace, Mile End.

Our AMND League team plays Saturdays at Adelaide Arena, 44a Crittenden Road, Findon.

A couple of rounds each season are moved to Thursday evenings at Mile End, in 2026 that was Rounds 7 and 11. Netball SA confirms these in the season handbook, and we pass the dates on well ahead of time.

The winter season runs from late April through to the Grand Final in mid-September, across 18 minor rounds plus finals. Senior games are four 15-minute quarters.

Winter - SAUCNA

Senior (Opens) games are played on Saturday afternoons, at the SAUCNA Association Courts in the Adelaide parklands (Park 22 / Josie Agius Park, off Anzac Highway and Goodwood Road).

Opens matches start at 12:00pm, 1:30pm, 3:00pm or 4:30pm with four 15-minute quarters. Your time and court are set in the weekly fixture.

The season runs from April through to finals in August, across 15 minor rounds.

Summer - CND (Netball SA)

Senior and Inter summer games are played on Tuesday nights at the Mile End Sports Complex, in one of two timeslots: 6:30pm-7:40pm or 8:15pm-9:25pm. Your grade's timeslot is set after grading and stays the same all season.

CND runs from 13 October 2026 to 20 March 2027 with 13 minor rounds and 2 finals rounds, including a break over Christmas after the 8 December round and a return on 2 February.

Summer - SAUCNA

Senior games in the SAUCNA summer competition are played on Wednesday nights at the SAUCNA Central Courts in the Adelaide parklands - Park 22 / Josie Agius Park (Wikaparntu Wirra), in the triangle of Anzac Highway, Greenhill Road and Goodwood Road. Parking is in the parklands south of the courts.

Opens matches start at 6:15pm, 7:15pm, 8:15pm or 9:15pm, with four 12-minute quarters. Your team's timeslot is confirmed once the program is released.

The season runs from October through to the Grand Final in March , with a break over the school holidays.

03When and where do seniors train?

Training is compulsory through the winter season: all senior teams train Wednesday nights at the SAUCNA courts on Anzac Highway, with qualified coaches. Schedules and start dates are confirmed each season and communicated to registered players.

Summer is deliberately lower-commitment: no allocated coaches and no compulsory training. The one exception is our Inters-to-Seniors team, which has a coach and runs a handful of training sessions across the season.

04How are senior teams chosen?

Before the winter season, all players go through a grading and trial process. Teams are formed on ability, position and development level, so every athlete is challenged at the right level.

05Can I play senior netball all year round?

Yes. Winter is AMND or SAUCNA on Saturdays, and over summer we field teams in the City Night Division on Tuesday nights and SAUCNA on Wednesdays. Play one season or both!

06What does it cost to register for senior netball?

Winter fees total approximately $355 per player, itemised in the fees section above, plus a 1.49% PlayHQ service fee. Summer fees are set with registrations, with a $123 Netball SA fee for players who haven’t competed in an affiliated winter competition.
